Motherhood is beautiful — and it’s also a lot. The days are long, the nights are unpredictable, and sometimes it feels like your baby gives more noise than love.

Our Mum & Baby classes in Balham are designed to give you space — to move your body, rebuild strength, and be around other mums who get it. These are fitness-forward, postnatal-certified classes built to help you recover safely and reconnect with yourself, while your baby rests right beside you.

Each session is a 50 minutes of purposeful movement, laughter, and the small but powerful relief of leaving the house to do something for you.

Who’s it for?

Our Mum & Baby classes are open to mums from around six weeks postpartum (or once cleared for exercise) up to the pre-crawling stage. A little shuffling and wriggling is perfectly fine, but we recommend attending before your baby starts exploring too far — for everyone’s safety and ease.

Bring a blanket, a toy, and anything that keeps your little one happy. Feed, change, or cuddle as needed — it’s all part of the flow.

What to Expect

  • Classes are small (maximum 14 mats) to ensure individual attention.

  • Postnatal-certified instructors guide every session safely and adaptively.

  • All equipment is provided — just bring yourself (and your baby).

  • You’ll leave feeling lighter, stronger, and more connected — to your body, your baby, and your community.
